Chocolate Black Bean Healthy Bodybuilding Brownies Recipe

 

I know what you’re thinking…black beans and brownies!? Si’s lost it! Trust me on this one! Give it a try!

The beans in this recipe are packed full of nutrients, fibre, protein and carbs! The complete opposite of the usual wheat based version you’d find anywhere else. The fats in this recipe are also brilliant sources of this particular macronutrient. Cocoa is seratonin boosting which is a feel good nutrient to give that brain a little influx of a mood boost!
Ingredients
  • 1 can of rinsed and drained black beans (roughly 220g)
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 2 egg whites – http://bit.ly/1mKO4Qx
  • 20-40g of splenda
  • 30g of cocoa
  • 40g of fine oats
Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 175c
  2. place all ingredients insie a food processor and blend until very smooth
  3. place your batter in a non stick sprayed lined baking tin and place in the oven for 30mins or until a toothpick comes out a little bit dirty
  4. let cool slightly and then serve
