Egyptian Style Bodybuilding Bulgar Wheat (Rice Alternative) Recipe

 

Sick and tired of bland rice? Give you taste buds a punch in the face with this Middle Eastern infused bulgar wheat recipe

Like most bodybuilding and fitness enthusiasts i bet you’re bored of rice? right? This dish is great for the whole family or for multiple servings for yourself and goes perfectly with most bodybuilding staple sources of protein! So spice up your meal and try this recipe!
Ingredients
  • 200g bulgar wheat
  • 4 spring onions
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • chilli flakes
  • ground coriander
  • 1 lemon
  • salt and pepper
Steps
  1. Place rice and 2 times as much boiling water in a pan, squeeze lemon juice and place the whole lemons in the mix, leave on simmer for 20mins, topping up water if neccassary
  2. chop all other ingredients
  3. when the bulgar has soaked up the water, place choppd ingredients and seasonings in pan and mix, leave to cook through for a few minutes
