Vanilla Nut Bodybuilding Protein Muffins Recipe

 

Ready to give in to that sweet tooth craving and throw your diet out the window? Don’t do it! Try these and stick to your diet and goals!

We’ve all had those times when we crave something really sweet and naughty but just cant fit them into our diets easily enough, these muffins do both of those things while providing you with a ample amount of satiating protein, complex micronutrient dense carbohydrates and a small amount of healthy fats! What’s not to like!

Ingredients
  • 200g instant oats (i used vanilla) – http://tidd.ly/a4701c59
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 90g or roughly 3 scoops of whey – http://tidd.ly/ea317495
  • 10g splenda (optional)
  • 40g of any chopped nuts
  • 160ml of almond milk
  • 1 peeled and grated courgette
  • 75g of greek yoghurt
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 175c
  2. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl
  3. add all wet ingredients to dry bowl and stir thoroughly
  4. distribute batter to 12 lined muffin trays and bake for 12-15 mins until a skewer comes out just clean
